My Boyfriend Came Back from the War by Olia Lialina
This piece is actually very interesting and a lot of people can relate to it. The way that the images look like film negatives can keep the connection with the situation being negative. I feel like I'm in the same boat with the author and having to confess to her boyfriend the things that are happening. My relationship is semi-long distance and it would be a dark dark day if my boyfriend were to ever come home and find out anything that wasn't like he left it. Even though the text and conversations are cut short, every bit of the situation is clear and understandable. The author may or may not be using a situation that she has encountered but it seems so realistic. The way the everything is detailed from the graphics and the text, the project has a very valuable meaning to it
